I can relate pale.emperor. I had an overzealous elder once go batshit crazy because I did a card trick at a get together. Simple trick a 5 year old could do, but the dumbass was yelling I was inviting demons into our congregation. I was 18 at the time and not baptized. Should have been a HUGE warning sign.

notice there are nearly 75 seats (5 rows) reserved for the occasion.
by my count...it looks like between 17 to 19 were baptized...with total attendance of 6,000. the youngest among them looks like between 9 and 11 years old.

can you give something to jehovah and then take it back?

I would like comments please on the lack of transparency regarding funds collected at circuit assemblies. A elder who I worked for said he doesn't go to the lunch time elders meeting as they aren't given full details either and just a waste of time.
Do they have a budget that is set. I mean at last weekends one day assembly on "being bold " They were saying it will cost £6000 and so keep giving. Work that out if there are 2 assemblies a weekend. The assembly hall is their own.

Just my 2 cents...stop trying to compare who has it worse, JW males or females. It's like comparing apples to oranges. They are BOTH in a fucken cult that in every situation it can, makes you feel like shit. Being a male, I have no idea how the sisters made it thru each day. And as a brother, I wanted to just say "fuck it, or fuck you" at almost every meeting because of the endless bullshit they put me thru. It's an organization that beats you down relentlessly and then asks you to do more.
